Die aus Kroatien stammende, deutschsprachige Autorin Marica Bodrožić lenkt in ihrem Erzählband "Der Windsammler" (2007) den Blick auf die kroatische Inselwelt. Anhand von drei Erzählungen wird gezeigt, wie die Geschichte der Inseln (Brijuni und Goli Otok) mit der Figureninszenierung verschränkt wird. Der herausgehobene Ort einer Insel bietet den erzählerischen Ausgangspunkt, das Verhältnis des Einzelnen zur eigenen und allgemeinen Geschichte immer wieder neu zu vermessen.
In her short story collection "Der Windsammler" (2007) Marica Bodrožić, a German-language author of Croatian origin, casts a glance at the world of Croatian islands. The article performs an analysis of three stories from this collection in order to reveal the overlapping between the history of certain islands (such as Brijuni or Goli Otok) on the one hand and the narrative production of characters on the other hand. In the stories, it is often one village or town that serves as the starting point for questioning one's relationship to individual and collective history.
