Sažetak

The author deals with a very actual subject of supply of the world with energy through nuclear power plants. In spite of all technical systems and automatic controlling instruments to prevent any damages, the accidents can happen and lead to radioactive contamination of surroundings. The author describes the effects of radioactive contamination on food, and particularly on milk and dairy products, the danger for the population's health and the measures to be taken to prevent it.
