Sažetak

This paper analyses the questions of the end and the contemporary meaning of philosophy. Traditional philosophy as metaphysics has today arrived to its end. However, old (but also new) questions in philosophy are still current, the emerging new world has not surpassed nor abolished any relevant question. Hence, the philosophy that remains faithful to its call of uncompromising critique of all that exists could have – beyond any dogmatism, reductionism, and relativism – a decisive role for the survival of humanity.
