Sažetak
Most railway undertakings in Europe possess several ISO standard certifi cates (9001, 14001, 18001), while the implementation of these requests is at the very beginning in Croatia. Currently, HŽ Infrastruktura holds a quality management system certifi cate according to the ISO 9001 standard, while HŽ Cargo and HŽ Putnički prijevoz have still not been successful in obtaining it. The Establishment of the quality control system according to the ISO 9001 standard was not implemented smoothly even when it comes to the traditionally closed HŽ Infrastruktura system, partly due to a lack of acceptance for changes, but partly also due to the creation of a parallel management system, which railway staff did not accept. However, the situation today is still better and there are first concrete advances. In the following three-year certifi cation cycle, ambitious goals have been set in order for the ISO 9001 standard to have a reactive and proactive application, and in this way generate benefi ts for HŽ Infrastruktura.
