Sažetak

Association of People's Health Andrija Štampar has launched the project "Health for all" which is recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia and was among the best rated. Project is imbued with the idea that the person should not be seen solely through the prism of the disease and simplify to it, but that each person should be observed in the unity of his physical, mental, social and spiritual condition. According to the principles of Andrija Štampar, professionals should perform among the population not only in health care institutions. Educational and promotional activities among the general population to promote healthy lifestyles and the importance of health and disease prevention are also the goals. The objectives are identification of health problems and dangers to public health, promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing and combating disease risk factors, reduction of social inequalities in health care and health promotion. The importance of health promotion is not just the task of national and local health policies, institutions, professionals, but also of civil society organizations to strengthen the capacity to implement and some future programs and projects to promote and preserve health.
