Sažetak
During the floristic investigations on the island of Murter among many plant species rare in the Croatian flora, the habitat of the species Damasonium polyspermum on the locality of Jezera aroused special interest since it is a new species, and at the same time a new genus to the flora of Croatia. This is also a new species to the flora of the whole of the Balkan Peninsula.
