Abstracts
In one of the previous works it has been shown how graphic presentation of an individual conics can be programmed on the basis of the coefficient of its equation in the general form. In this paper the conic section pencil is explained, and it is noted that it cannot contain any number of conics of parabolic type, but that only all of them, or two, or one or none can be of such type. The conic section pencil is illustrated through several examples from cartography.
