Is mass communication a threat to the ethics of self-determination?

Sažetak
This paper gives consideration to certain important issues regarding man’s
position in so called post modern, networked communication society, as well as
necessity, i.e. possibility of radical turn in global communication.
When faced with the nature of living in mass individualized society and with
the impact it has on man’s soul and spirit, man’s ability to build his own personality, i.e.
to be responsible subject of ethical self-determination has become questionable.
