Sažetak
This contribution is an extensive presentation of the work »Christliche Philosophie im katholischen Denken des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts.« We had come to the conclusion that the subject of this work, although of some importance, has remained comparatively unknown to our readers. The first volume deals with the Christian philosophers of the 19th century and their attempts to respond to the philosophical challenges of the time. The opinion of philosophers, listed according to their language groups, are reproduced. An interesting panorama of the endeavour to carry out a renewal of philosophy based on Christian principles has thus been obtained.
