Sažetak

The author starte from the statement that the faith of the first Church very
soon confronted with two fundamental questions which the Holy Scripture explicitly
does not state nor solve them: how to explain Christ's godhead inside monotheistic
comprehension of God and in which way reconciles in Christ his divine and human
dimension. This article primarily talks about the first question.
In the first part, the author sketches some of the most known attempts of
Christian thinkers during the first three centuries, to explain more thought out
relation of monotheism and Christ's divine. In frame of anti-monarchical polemics,
especial attention was stated Origen's conception of God's unity and trinity. The
author points out Alexandria as decisive place of conflicts of diverse doctrinaire
currents.
The second part of essey talks about Arvan's leaming, who starts from conviction
in absolute God's unity and transcendency, then that he was undivided and unborn.
These attributes do not permit Son's godhead because by that, as Aryan thinks,
brings into God divisibility, changeabilitiy and dualism. The author then underlines
Arvan's nearness and new Platonizm.
The third part talks about the root of Arvanism. The Author insists on obvious
similarities Aryan's leaming with reflections of Philo from Alexandria and he just
sees in Alexandrian tradition those roots and especially in Origen's leaming about
trinity which was radicalized by Aryan.
