We believe that we need a journal space for the interdisciplinary thematization of "Pilar's themes," themes of identity, modernization, and Europeanization, from the point of view of relevant scientific disciplines. The journal PILAR publishes regular international editions with a suitably composed Editorial Board.The first issue was released in November 2006, coinciding with the fifteenth anniversary of the Institute of Social Sciences named after Ivo Pilar.
