Sažetak
Istražena je proizvodnja γ-linolenske kiseline pri uzgoju 7 sojeva plijesni roda Mucorales. Soj plijesni, izoliran s područja zapadne obale Kerale, proizveo je 8 % γ- linolenske kiseline u supstratu s glukozom kao jedinim izvorom ugljika. U pokusima na tresilici istražen je utjecaj različitih uvjeta uzgoja. Maksimalna koncentracija suhe biomase od 48,4 g/L i ukupna koncentracija γ-linolenske kiseline od 636 mg/L postignuti su uzgojem na 30 °C pri 200 o/min tijekom 7 dana. Od istraženih organskih izvora dušika za povećanje proizvodnje γ-linolenske kiseline najbolji su bili kvaščev ekstrakt i kombinacija kukuruznog ekstrakta i pekarskog kvasca u omjeru 1:1.
