The journal “Social Psychiatry” was established in 1973 at the Clinic for Psychiatry of University Hospital Centre Zagreb and the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb. The journal publishes scientific and professional papers, editorials, reviews, case reports, reports on drugs and methods of treatment, news and book reviews, letters to the editor, and other contributions in the field of social psychiatry and related professions, provided they have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. It publishes four issues annually and contributions are published in Croatian and English side-by-side. The journal is indexed in EBSCO, Excerpta Medica (Embase), Hrčak, PsycInfo, and Scopus. It is also available through numerous discovery & scholarly search platforms. The journal does not charge authors any fees for the publication of their work. The journal welcomes submissions from all authors without any restrictions regarding institutional affiliation, organizational membership, nationality, or other comparable criteria. The annual subscription fee is 80 €, while the price of a single issue is 35 €.
