Sažetak

The authors have discussed the topic on Search and Rescue at sea, analyzing the International Convention on Search and Rescue at Sea that was adopted by Conference in Hamburg in 1979. The Convention entered into force in 1985. The Republic of Croatia ratified it in 1996.
On the basis of the provisions of Hamburg Convention, The Republic of Croatia brought National Plan of Search and Rescue and Salving Human Service of Search and Rescue in compliance with the Law of Certifying International Convention of Search and Rescue.
