Application of ion-selective electrode for determination of chlorides of milk

Sažetak

The determination of chloride ions in milk by using ion-selective electrode was studied. Comparatively, the determination of these ions by applying classical, potentiometric and columetric titration was made. Using the chloride-selective electrode the reproducible results were obtained. Standard error is – 3.5 ml Cl/100 ml. The values are some greater than the values obtained by the other methods. But we prefer the use of ion-selective electrode from the quick procedure which is applicable for the routine measurings.
