Sažetak

This paper deals with morphological, cytological and chorological investigations on polymorphic species Primula auricula L. on the areas of distribution in SR Croatia.
As can be seen from tho morphological investigations, the majority of characteristics show a large variability. For all established taxonomic forms leaf margin varies in the same manner: from smooth- edged to big-toothed. On tho basis of this observation, the autor brought out the conclusion that the taxon subsp. serratifolia (Roch.) Jav. has no value and require to abolish it, because till this day the big- toothed leaf margin was the only determination characteristic for this subspecies.
Two very significant characteristics of epiderm — glandular hairs and white »pouder«, for which it has been stated to be of a coated wax-sticky made, and on the same part of the plant they always exlude each other reciprocally. The relationship of these two characteristics has been fixed concerning the different parts of the plant, and three morphologic shapes are outstanding being based on them.
Polen analysis on Scanning — electron microscope shows that there is no difference in morphological structure of polen grains between each taxon of species P. auricula L. According to NPC — system, polen belong to zonotreme tricolpate type.
Cytological investigations were made on plants from Kalnik Mountain. The stadies of mitosis in root — tip cells and stadies of mejosis in mother—polen cells were investigated. Dimensions of chromosomes are 0,6 — 2,5 p. For the first time it is determined the chromosome number for the district of Yugoslavia and it is 2n = 62 and 2n = 62 -I- 2B. Because of the presence of B-chromosomes and often asexual reproduction it is visible that P. auricula is apomictic aneuploid.
On the basis of summarized results of morphological and cytological investigations three intraspecific taxons are established:
Primula auricula L. subsp. auricula
Primula auricula L. var. obristii (Stein) Beck
Primula auricula L. subsp. balbisii (Lehm.)Arcang.
Chorological investigations are made in four areas of distribution in SR Croatia. Composition of populations in each area of distribution are distinctly different.
P. auricula L. var. obristii (Stein) Beck is found on the Kalnik Mountain, on Medvednica and Strahinjscica with the greatest number of plants, but only on Ivanscica the most plants exclusively belong to the subsp. balbisii (Lehm.) Arcang.
The key for determination of intraspecific taxons of polymorphic species P. auricula L. was given based on these investigations.
