PREPROBIOTIC FERMACTO IN COMPARISON WITH PROBIOTICS AND ANTIBIOTICS

Antibiotics are commonly used to overcome stress, the result of intensive production, oscillation in feed quality, overcrowding or disease frequently manifested by diarrhoea and decreased production. Diarrhoea and decreased production are the result of disturbed balance between useful and harmful microorganisms in animal digestive system. Antibiotics have a tendency of recovering the balance by killing harmful bacteria, although killing some useful bicteria as well. ln this way the digestion capacity is increased as well as feed utilization.The other group of products are the so-called probiotics. Contrary to antibiotics they increase the population of useful bacteria in the digestive system. Since probiotics are cultures of useful bacteria, they are sensitive to increased temperature and moisture. Antibiotics and probiotics are not synergists. Antibiotics kill bacteria and probiotics are a source of useful bacteria so they are counter indicated and simultaneous application is not possible. Fermacto is a probiotic product, which means it is neither a probiotic, nor an antibiotic or, an enzyme or a yeast. Thus, it can be simultaneously applied with antibiotics, probiotics and other growth promoters. Furthermore, a simultaneous application of antibiotics and Fermecto or enzymes and Fermacto improves production (feed utilization, growth, egg production) and profit. Fermacto is a natural supplement to cattle feed, basically a primary fermentation product (Aspergillus). lt contains nutritive ingredients, not for animals, but for microorganisms in the animal digestive system. Aspeigillus contains a large amount of mycelic fibers and a small amount of nucleic acids which stimulate the growth of intestine microflora (they increase the number of cells). A considerable amount of microorganisms increase tne digestion capacity and feed utilization which is manifested by the productivity in the monogastric animals (pigs, fowl, fish). Since it is a natural suplement there is no residue, it is not toxic and it is compatible with all the cattle feed components, including antibiotics and probiotics. Fermacto decreases stress, which is the result of intensive production, overcrowding, disease and unfavourable environment factors. lt is sterile and does not contain live organisms. Consequently, it is very stable and can be stored up to three years preserving its full activity after pelleting or feed extruding.
