Sažetak
European Union consumer law is developing continuously, which has recently been evidenced by the introduction of a new reform package encompassing alternative consumer dispute resolution and online dispute resolution. The aim of this paper is to analyse advantages and
disadvantages of the reform from the perspective of its intended goals, and to evaluate the level of success in achieving those goals at the national level. To that end, the authors critically analyse the relevant European legislation and the main proposed Croatian legislative solutions, comparing them to legislative solutions of other Member States of the EU. The authors conclude that the implementation of the reform at the national level has not been entirely successful, which may lead to enforcement difficulties and legal uncertainty.
