Library passions in Moscow conceptualism: the borderline case of Leo Rubinstein

Sažetak
Although Leo Rubinstein is known as one of the most original figures of the Russian public and art scene, and as such he is also recognized in the West, his works, most often as a columnist, have only recently, and to an insufficient extent, begun to be disseminated among Southern Slavs. In this essay, we have tried to explore the phenomenon of artistic portrait and poetics of fragmentary inter-genre forms of Leo Rubinstein and review the basic components of his literary position and conceptual procedure that is based on the model of using library cards. We have paid special attention to the techniques that the author uses to achieve the machine-likeness and list-likeness of his verses. We were also intrigued by the engagement of the writer as a columnist and activist, as well as the program foundation of different phases of his work.
