Sažetak
On the highway Rijeka–Karlovac, section Bosiljevo–Kupjak, excavation of the first Croatian tunnel with three tracks is finished, tunnel of Veliki Gložac. Constructors were French company SPIE Batignolles and Croatian company Mediteran Union Tunel. "Drill & Blast" method was used in excavation. Profile of the tunnel was wide enough for two machines for drilling the mine holes (robofore) to be used in the same time. Using of two robofore in the same time is not a new method in the world. Few years ago it was done on the tunnel in Hong Kong, which was drilled in the straight line. However this is the first time in the world that two robofore are used in the same time in the curve. Excavation of tunnels is not very frequent theme and there is much to write about, though this text gives just some distinctive details about this specific one.
