Sažetak
In October 2001 the government adopted the first Communication Strategy Aimed at informing the Croatian Public about the European Integration
Process of the Republic of Croatia. Subsequently, the dynamics of Croatia's progress towards the EU and the launching of accession negotiations have brought forth the need for more information and have thus necessitated the introduction of a new communication strategy aimed at informing the Croatian public about the European Union and Croatia's preparations for membership. With this new Communication Strategy, the government lays out the strategic framework for informing/communicating about the EU accession process, drawing upon the information needs expressed by Croatian
citizens in public opinion polls. This Strategy will last until Croatia has been granted full EU membership. In view of the aforementioned, this
Communication Strategy represents a flexible and dynamic structure capable of accommodating the multifaceted and dynamic nature of the integration process.
