Sažetak
Social and political changes and military activities that affected the territory of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the nineties disrupted transport and economic contacts between Croatia and Serbia. Considering that since 1991 the inter-republic borders have become inter-state borders, it was necessary to change the legal framework and carry out adjustments in the field of transport and economy. The crossing of the population from the border area and other travelers across border crossings at that time became the subject of statistical analysis and historiographical research. Normative and statistical components of archival customs material from customs offices on the border of Croatia and Serbia from 1991 to 1999 are a valuable source for further scientific research on social, political, fiscal and juristical relations between Croatia and Serbia.
