Abstract
The Bologna reform of higher education has both positive and negative effects. However, in the general evaluation of these effects, negative effects dominate: a general lowering of the level of education, and the ever-present commercialization of higher education (which is equivalent to the processes of commercialization of culture), the growth of private initiative in higher education, and the marginalization of humanities, which is accompanied by the instrumentalization of fundamental and social science, as well as the sphere of cultural creativity.
Keywords
Bologna reform; neoliberalism; level of education; commercialization; marginalization of humanities; instrumentalization of science
