Abstract

In the context of the need for corporate social responsibility, sustainable business practices, and
balancing various sometimes conflicting objectives, a company must establish a performance
measurement system. This system will maintain the company's business and other successes. The
Balanced Scorecard, as a modern approach to measuring business performance, enables the
monitoring of both financial and non-financial performance objectives. This approach seeks to
balance these aspects. This paper will present the concept of business performance and methods
for measuring it. Through the use of compilation, analysis, and synthesis methods, the general
goal of this paper has been achieved, which is to present the Balanced Scorecard for measuring
business performance with an emphasis on socially responsible business practices.
