Sažetak
This research aimed to gather sociodemographic data of museum visitors: gender, age, education, place of residence, and their satisfaction with the manifestation, as well as visiting frequency to the Museum Night in Čakovec. For that purpose, primary research was conducted through a questionnaire accessed by respondents via a QR code. The sample consisted of 164 visitors from the Međimurje and neighbouring counties, as well as the neighbouring Republic of Slovenia. The respondents were visitors, which constitutes an appropriate sample. The respondents voluntarily filled out the questionnaire using a QR code application. The questionnaire comprised two sections: the first section was dedicated to visitor profile, and the second to their satisfaction. The questionnaire could be accessed by adults only. The results were obtained by the basic statistical methods, graphically illustrated and compared to relevant research results. Furthermore, the research results
led to a conclusion that a vast majority of visitors are not only local visitors, that the majority of visitors were not at the manifestation for the first time, that they mostly come with friends or families, thus transferring the habit of visiting the manifestation to younger generations. The fact that the visitors were more than satisfied with the museum themes, programmes and exhibitions during the Museum Night confirms the repeated visits to the manifestation over a period of years. Following the results related to the manifestation, the number of visitors and manifestation theme, the paper focuses on the profile and satisfaction of visitors.
