Abstract
In the 2025/2026 academic year, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb, marks the tenth anniversary of its six-year Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Study Programme in Veterinary Medicine taught in English. Launched in the 2016/2017 academic year, this programme was among the first integrated study programmes in English offered by a constituent unit of the University of Zagreb, as well as one of the first of its kind in the Republic of Croatia. The programme has grown into a key pillar of the Faculty’s internationalisation efforts and has become a symbol of academic excellence. It has significantly increased the visibility and recognition of the Faculty, attracted students from around the world, and laid a strong foundation for future cooperation, mobility, and development. This article examines the development of the programme, its significance, and its contribution to international collaboration and the reputation of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Zagreb.
