Sažetak
This paper examines the use of an inquiry-based approach to conducting literature reviews in biology education, with a specific focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). It highlights the importance of fostering active student participation and developing critical thinking and analytical skills through a multidisciplinary lens. Teaching that emphasizes online literature research enhances creativity and fosters a deeper understanding of biological concepts. Particular attention is given to student activities during lessons, which include researching literature sources, creating posters, and presenting their findings. This approach effectively encourages students to cultivate independent research skills, enhance critical thinking, gain a better understanding of biological concepts, and strengthen their communication and collaboration abilities. To address the challenges identified, it is essential to provide students with guidelines for critically evaluating the credibility of sources. Additionally, using visual tools and discussions can help students grasp the connections between cause and effect. Organizing role-playing activities and scenarios allows students to recognize their personal responsibility in preventing AMR.
