Abstract

The paper deals with the representation of Holocaust topics and Holocaust-related topics in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral history studies at the Croatian universities. The main research emphasis is placed on the presence and the character of separate courses dedicated to the Holocaust. Secondarily, the paper also deals with the presence of Holocaust topics in the curricula of the courses that are not exclusively dedicated to the Holocaust. The analysis of the study programs was conducted through their qualitative review and was processed using the method of descriptive statistics, and the results are presented graphically and descriptively. Finally, the paper concludes that individual courses on the Holocaust are still rare, and most often elective, while, as expected, certain topics on this topic appear as a content of other courses in the field of the contemporary history.
