Abstract

This paper analyzes the perceptions of students at the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences (TVZ) regarding their communication, presentation, and writing skills, with particular emphasis on the role of education in the development of these competencies. The study was conducted on a sample of 114 students using a structured online questionnaire. The findings indicate a positive impact of educational activities on the development of writing and presentation skills, whereas communication skills remain an area that requires further practical engagement. Furthermore, a statistically significant correlation was found between self-confidence and self-assessment of writing skills, underscoring the importance of psychological factors in the learning process.
