Sažetak

The paper describes a group of amphibians and the most important reasons for their
endangerment, with an emphasis on road killing during seasonal migration to hatcheries.
It shows three main spots of road killing in Međimurje County and methods and
actions of saving amphibians from road killing by installing protective fences and traps.
The author presents and compares the results of long-term operations at spots with most
road killings in Međimurje County.
