Abstract

The largest Croatian nautical company on the Adriatic – Adriatic Croatia International Club, marina company Ltd., Rijeka (hereinafter: ACI Ltd.) – in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (Official Gazette No. 71/14, 118/14, 94/18 and 96/18) and other regulations, has regulated issues and relations concerning occupational safety and health through general autonomous normative acts, i.e. the “working conditions of the employer ... within the occupational safety and health domain”. Pursuant to the provisions of the Statute of ACI Ltd., the competence (authority) of the Management Board of the Company has been established to autonomously regulate the said relations. “The elimination of risks to the health and life of workers is ensured by the employer through the application of basic, special and recognized occupational safety and health rules.” The content of this article includes the listing of general autonomous normative acts in ACI Ltd., as well as a presentation and analysis of the organization and implementation of occupational safety and health, training for safe work, jobs with special working conditions, work equipment and hazardous substances, instructions for safe work, information provision, occupational injuries, protection of specific categories of workers, rights and obligations of workers and employers, their representatives and authorized persons, workers’ protective clothing and footwear, the occupational safety and health committee, evacuation and rescue plans, and other occupational safety and health issues.
