THE IMPORTANCE OF RESPECTING THE COGNITIVE STYLES AND LEARNING STYLES OF STUDENTS IN THE TEACHING PROCESS

Abstract
The aim of this study was to point out the necessity of recognition of cognitive styles and learning styles of students in the process of teaching in inclusive education. This paper presents the theoretical framework for understanding the different "typologies" of cognitive styles and learning styles and the results of research that confirm the positive effects of the appreciations of styles. When theachers take into consideration the cognitive styles and learning styles of their students, students achieve better results in learning, they are motivated to work in the learning process using their strenghts and developing in line with their potential.
