Abstract

The aim of this work is to describe the declination of pronouns in a Croato-Glagolitic manuscript, the Academy’s Breviary from the 14th century, and to compare it with canonical Old Church Slavonic manuscripts, Croato-Glagolitic fragments and liturgical manuscripts, codices, and finally with printed breviaries. Furthermore, based on the studied and presented corpus, the author aims to answer the question of whether or not there is a difference, and to what extent, etween forms of pronouns in the first (Psalter) and the second breviary (Commune Sanctorum). The difference between the two has already been confirmed for some language levels – in other words, the second part was more heavily influenced by the writer’s own speech.
