Whey powder sterilization by ionising irradiation

Abstract

Whey powder was sterilized by y wawes application. As a source of irridiation isotope 60Co was used in Institute of Nuclear sciences Boris Kidrich, Vincha - Belgrade. The applied doses were: a, b, c, d and e Kgy. The dose d was radarertization. After whey powder irridiation no adwerse changes of organoleptic properties were noticed.
