Abstract

This study aims at understanding the relationship between participative decision making (organizational culture, organizational power, organizational effectiveness and organizational loyalty) and gender, taking into consideration age variables. In addition, it has attempted to determine if there is an inter-relation between the four subscales of participative decision making. 80 academicians working at Sinop University participated in the study. The obtained data was analyzed in SPSS program package. The results of the analysis have shown that there is no relation between demographic variables (age and gender) and the four subscales of participative decision making: organizational effectiveness, organizational power, organizational loyalty and organizational culture.
