Abstract
In this study the author analyzes the consumption of energy in production of wheat included in the human work, fuel and energy used in, mechanisation. Based on the analysis of work organization and means of work while executing separate work processes in production of wheat, the author develops a theory of cutting costs and suggests rational consumption of energy. As a result of economical organization of work process and use of means of work in wheat production, the consumption of energy is cut down to 2.220,16 MJ/ha or 45.78% in relation to uneconomical organization.
