Abstract

The paper presents research of the interconnection of the dimensions of perception of museum activities and the students’ age. Mentioned interconnection was observed on the basis of the research of the dimensions of students’ perceptions in the group of 431 students from second and fourth grade of primary schools in Zadar, Benkovac and Privlaka. Features of students’ perceptions in the museum environment were monitored at the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar. The combined methodology was used in the study. Quantitative data were collected using a questionnaire and qualitative free written statements and students’ drawings and their teachers statements were collected by semi-structured interviews. In conclusion, the paper explains the interconnection between students’ perceptions of museum contents and activities and the age of the students in a situation of balanced, age undifferentiated teaching, which was conducted in the museum environment during the research.
