POETIC AND STYLISTIC CONCEPTUALIZATION OF THE BOOK OF POEMS "ZORE I VIHORI" BY VESNA PARUN
Tin Lemac
Abstract
This paper offers a poetic and stylistic interpretation of the fist Parun’s book of poems "Zore i vihori" (Dawns and whirlwinds). This interpretation is a superstructure of the thesis of her fist poetic phase that is marked by certain characteristics, some of which modifid or non-modifid appear in her later poetry. Critics analyzed the phaenotextual structure of the text and defied the prototext of the Mediterranean poetics (in motifs), infantilism (in motifs and stylistic structures), extra literary war reality (the leitmotif), and the disharmony of the subject and the world. In this paper we modeled the poetic and stylistic filds with generic subfilds and ordered them from the highest to the lowest level of abstraction: metapoetic fild (demonstration of the nature stratum), the fild of the Time fiure (poem "Exodus" as a paradigma, conotational crossings and postwar associations), autopoetic fild (establishing the women’s subject, emotional relating to the Other, erotic relating to the Other), utopian fild (symbolic landscapes, symbolic landscapes with a Melancholia fiure, infantilistic metadicourse, evocation of the Golden Time, utopian images as postwar future projections) and a dystopian fild (relation "nature – human", dystopian images, denotational entity and mythical corelative of war, infantilistic subversion of war, NOB – intertext). Every fild and subfild has been fully elaborated and the poems with their characteristics noted and the paradigmatical one interpreted. The interpretation ends with the conclusion of theTime fiure covering the whole model and having the most important value in this interpretation.
