NUTRIENT REQUIREMENTS OF GOATS

Abstract

Feeding and physiological characteristics of goats are presented such as nutrient requirements for dairy goats, male goats and kids. Simplified models describe the nutrient requirement of goats - netto energy, metabolizable protein and minerals. Also are shown the tables of nutrient requirements, feeds intake capacity and feeds consumption. All prosented data are based on INRA (1988) standard.
