Abstract

The paper presents the research development of intercultural competence at Teachers College Students. Te development of intercultural competence of teachers is an important link in the development of intercultural education and intercultural dialogue, which are the documents of the Council of Europe recognized as a civilizing. Te theoretical basis of this research study is based on the developmental model of intercultural sensitivity and current research on the general development of intercultural competence, the development of intercultural competence in teacher education and the development of intercultural competence with the use of information and communication technology (ICT). Te study analyzed the content of network reviews and discussion of aspects of meaning of these facilities for research participants. Content analysis of network discussions led by future teachers on two topics related to the feld of intercultural education has resulted in data about the level of development of their intercultural competence. Despite the results of the study indicate different levels of reported development of certain categories of intercultural competence, it is possible to identify the relative consistency of thought and expression of students on intercultural issues, regardless of their level of closeness discussed issues.
