Abstract
Reflective practice and classroom management and discipline are considered the important areas for introduction of positive changes in teacher practice and their professional development. Therefore, the aim of the research was to determine the intensity and direction of the reflective practice impact on teachers behavior self-assessment and job satisfaction in classroom management and discipline. The study was conducted on non-probabilistically sample of teachers in the Republic of Croatia using experimental and control groups. The research instrument was questionnaire. The control group participated in education, while the experimental group in addition participated in education and implementation of reflective practice with the help of a Guide for reflection. The results of structural equation modeling (SEM) confirmed the positive impact of reflective practice to self-assessment and job satisfaction of teachers in classroom management and discipline. Additionally, comparison of differences in rank mean values for initial and final measurement, showed that the implementation of reflective practice results in more positive self-assessment of behavior and greater job satisfaction in classroom management and discipline than education itself.
