THE IMPORTANCE OF SUPERVISION IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL WORKERS

Abstract
Research examines the significance of supervision in professional development of social workers beginners. Datas were collected using questionares in four non governmental organizations where supervision is consisting part of psychosocial help to the war survivors. Questionaries were filled by 69 helpers. They are giving a high value to each purpose of supervision. The most important purpose of supervision for them is support and they expect that 42 - 54% of time should be spent on that part, 38 - 41 % should be spent on education and 15 - 20% they left for a controlling part of supervision
