Abstract
Test methods represent stress for most of the students and are an integral part of their life, study and educational process. The research was conducted in order to determine how and in what way, students are (are not) facing stressful test situations. 328 students of the Faculty of Science and Education, including students who are studing at the Faculty’s branch office in Orašje, participated in the research. „Scale face-to-face stress test“ that clearly distinguishes four factors: subcapacing of emotion-oriented, face-toface, confrontation/distraction faces, coping with seeking help, was used for stress measurement (Sorić, 2002).
Research results obtained, confirm that most students apply different ways of dealing with stress. Significant gender differences were found only for emotional-oriented face-to-face factors, while there are no significant differences in the individual factors concerning the study. Students in the first and second years show significant differences in the problem-solving strategy. It turned out that students studying in Mostar achieved significantly more results in the subcen- tral of faceto- face emotion than students studying in Orašje.
