Arrest of ship - Personal debtor issue : [case review]

Abstract

The claimant may arrest only the ship owned by a person liable in respect of a maritime claim. When in the case of a charterer by demise of the ship or a charterer is liable in respect of a maritime claim relating to that ship, the claimant may arrest such ship or any other ship in the ownership of the charterer by demise or a charterer.
