Abstract
On the sample of 62 seventh grade boys and 65 seventh grade girls verbal an nonverbal intelligence tests were administered and treated as predictor variables, while mean marks from all subjects were treated as criterion variables.
The results of regression analysis showed that greater part of intelligence tests variance participated in the general and partial achievement variance, and thatit is possible to predict general and partial achievement on the basis of intelligence tests results.
The hypothesis about connection between predictor variables and physical education achievement and about possibility to predict physical education achievement on the basis of intelligence tests results was not confirmed.
