Abstract

The results do not indicate the existence of a significant difference in marking between the teacher's mark and students' marks; also that an agreement as to marking criteria among students did not exist, but there was not a significant difference between the teacher's mark and the self-marks of the students. further, the results show that the familiarity factor had a positive role in agreement of criteria between the teacher's mark and the student's marks when the teacher and students had known each other well for a longer period of time. In all other cases (i. e., mutual marking of students, agreement of criteria between the marks of the group of 10 teachers and the marks of the students, relation the teacher's mark and the self-marks of students) he familiarity factor did not have a significant role.
