Abstract
On the sample of 137 students of physical education at the University of Zagreb R. B. Cattell's 16 PF and H. J. Eysenck's MPI were assessed and by means of Hottelling's classical canonical correlational analysis were related to the results of five motoric tests for measurement of hypothetically defined factor of intensity of excitation regulation and to the results of five motoric tests for measurement of hypothetically defined factor of regulation of duration of excitation.
Analysing the results the following conclusios were possible:
1) there existed statistically significant relation between every set of motoric tests and set of conative tests (only the first canonical root was significant)
2) tests for measurement regulation of duration of excitation were in higher degree correlated to conative measures of conditioning processes than were tests for measurement of intensity of excitation regulation. So it could be concluded that regulation of duration of excitation was much less dispositionally limited than regulation of intensity of excitation. Because of significant relations between motoric and conative variables it could be proposed that kinesiological activities could influence relations between analyzed subsystems.
