Abstract
Urban systems are complex, and resilience to crises and adaptation to new conditions (such as market closures, etc.) is necessary at all levels. The purpose of the research is to analyse the adaptation of the local community, after the closure of physical markets, to digital ways of buying and selling small family farm products. The research was conducted on the basis of mapping the digitalization of markets and small family farms, and organizing citizens through Facebook groups. Authors of the survey of users of Facebook groups analysed the experiences and attitudes of customers, and semi-structured interviews with family farm owners analysed the experiences of small food producers. The conclusions of the research indicate changes in eating habits, and the tendency of customers to digitize, with certain limitations, but for the realization of all the potentials of digitalization for family farms, stronger institutional support is necessary.
