Industrial classification in Croatia

Abstract

Analysis showed that three factors of industrial location differ greatly for different industries. These factors are cheap labour, proximity of raw materials, and proximity of business centres. Croatian industries were grouped on the basis of those three factors. Croatian industries may be classified into three groups: labour intensive, raw material based and complex. There is a difference in the classification of Croatian and world industries. This classification of Croatian industries should be viewed as one possible categorization.
