Sociological aspects of compensation for indirect damage from the construction of dangerous facilities and plants
Ivan Rogić
Abstract
It is the author's hypotesis that the special structural features of certain technical facilities cause changes in the social environment. These especially include industrial plants, hydroelectric power plants, nuclear power plants, despositories of radioactive waste and so on. Although not the consequence of illegal behaviour of investors, these changes are undesirable. Their consequences are indirect or direct damage that in the long term erodes the local traditional heritage.
